Bridal Style Shoot | Vibrant, Colorful, Romantic | San Francisco City inspired

“Inspired by the colorful homes and romantic scenery of San Francisco where we call home, Jessica of Blushing Joy Events and I teamed up to create an intimate, vibrant editorial for the modern, city bride.

We were drawn to clean, bright backdrop The Upstairs of Central Kitchen, a San Francisco restaurant that specializes in locally sourced food for a seasonal menu, had to offer. Becca, of Milsom & Bloom, artfully handpicked seasonal florals to reflect the vibrant pops of color one sees when walking through a San Francisco neighborhood. We opted for a clean, modern table setting with a white linen from La Tavola and cafe chairs, reflective of San Francisco’s iconic cafes, that were accented with warm-peach toned tabletop rentals from Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals and calligraphy name cards by Old City Mailroom. Our bride was beautifully adorned in a romantic Galia Lahav gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal and Susie Saltzman engagement ring with a romantic updo and makeup by Aimee Artistry. The warm, golden San Francisco light filtering through the windows at The Upstairs was the perfect ending to enjoy a piece of cake delicately prepared by Etta Avenue Cakes…”

Not much of a writer, I’d keep it short here. I was honored to be invited to work on this shoot for the makeup & hair design part. I couldn’t be more excited to be on board after I saw Jessica’s mood board and the line up of talented vendors included.
