Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot | Utterly romantic and vintage inspired

Aren’t these images filled with a feminine touch? This is by far one of the prettiest shoots I’ve ever done. There were 3 gorgeous models with differing skin tones and hair colors and textures. Grace & I PR’d with hair + makeup for all 3 models in only 3hrs!! It was a a frantic pace, and we kept working even after the photographer started taking photos. I ran around behind the scenes adding some blush there, changing the lipstick there, endless small tweaks … When us artists face time constraints, we have to adjust so the photographer can start with the subject, then we come in between moments to fine tune. However, this is not ideal for a real wedding day! As a bride, you’d want to walk out feeling beautiful and perfect and not worrying about your hair or makeup for at least another 4 or 5 hours. Therefore, I always ask for a lot of time to get a bride ready in the morning. I have my careful way of applying makeup with the wear and tear possibility. No brides would want to look cakey, super shiny and showing deep lines in photos. The bride’s job is to take good care of her skin of course, and my job is to ensure that whatever is laying on that skin is the right product, with the right amount, and sometimes in multiple thin layers.
