Yes! If it's the Iconic Elegance, the travel fee starts at $100. I'm currently serving the San Francisco/Penninsula area only, which is about 15-20 miles radius from Daly City where I'm located. And valet is required for all SF hotels for efficiency & safety for ourselves and our kit.

More than happy to, if your wedding date is within 3-4 months time frame. There's a retainer fee to secure a trial date. After the trial, you'll have 24 hrs to complete your booking before your date is open for someone else.

I've found that 10-12 weeks before is the sweet spot. You have photos of you in the dress, photos of your veil, your chosen bouquet style/colors to show me and these visuals will be very helpful when deciding on your hairstyle & makeup. You'll also have just the right amount of time to fit in your facial(s) and haircut/coloring leading up to the day. You might also know the wedding day timeline by now, so we can chat about it & firm up our start/end time for your day of.

I'm sorry I'm not offering on-site touch up services at the moment. But, I've been told over & over again that my meticulous work, along with the my provided touch up kit & careful instruction, my clients were able to do their own touch up easily. Some told me they didn't even have to do anything except reapplying lipstick. The makeup and hair last them well into the night, through all the tears, laughter & dancing. As far as a full hairstyle or makeup change, I've found that it's extremely hard to fit that into a typical wedding day timeline. Even with a planner's help, usually you get 20m at most. As the Bride, it will not be easy to dissappear from everyone for more than 10 min. That's why I'm a big fan of doing my work intentionally & meticulously first, and let the brides do her 5-10m touch up for the day.

My personal take is that the look we create at our trial is a real try-it-out for the wedding day, with your dress & other wedding details in mind. Engagement sessions often lean towards a more relaxed and casual look. But I'll let you make the call on this. If it works for you, it works for me! Just keep in mind that for trials, my availability is either Tues or Thu, 9:30am to 1pm time frame.

Words like “natural” or “simple” don’t tell you how skilled, detail-oriented, or intentional an artist is. They also shouldn’t be the deciding factor on whether you need a trial. Longevity is another huge factor when it comes to makeup and hair for a city hall wedding or photoshoot. If I were a bride, I’d ask myself two things: (1) Have I had my hair or makeup done professionally in the past five years and genuinely loved it at least once? (2) Am I detail oriented, especially knowing I’ll be looking at these wedding photos for years? If the answer is no to the first and yes to the second, a trial is probably a wise move. It gives us clarity, alignment, and peace of mind. If budget is tight, you can absolutely book a makeup only or hair only trial.

For the level of hair and makeup you see in my portfolio, I typically require 3 to 3.5 hours for the bride. An 8am finish time for hair & makeup would require a very early start, 5am maybe. While I have accommodated super early mornings before, I don't generally recommend nor enjoy working them, as limited rest (and leadding up to the day stress) can lead to breakouts, puffiness, eye redness, watery eyes, and that groggy feeling for my clients. I selfishly prefer that my clients start the day feeling rested and relaxed. For now, I do not offer anything earlier than 8:30am start time. My city hall brides usually are the ones who will have a 2pm or later ceremony time.
