I came into the trial not knowing what hair style I wanted, but Aimee helped me decide by providing pros and cons for each style, and recommending what would look best with my dress. When I made a request to loosen some parts of the updo during the trial, she listened closely and remembered to recreate it that way on my wedding day. Aimee also presented tasteful hair pieces to add to the beauty of the look, which was an amazing touch! I appreciate how much thoughtfulness and consideration she brought into the service.

Can I book a Preview/Trial Session before signing the contract?

Yes, you're welcome to book a Preview once you have the venue booked and wedding dress chosen.

Makeup & Hair Preview: $550
Hair Only Preview: $300
Available Tues–Thurs, 9:30am–2:30pm. Weekends unavailable.

After I sign the contract with you, when should we plan to meet for our Preview?

I will contact you 4 months before your wedding day to schedule a Preview together. After years working with brides, I found that having a Preview done 2 to 4 months before is the most ideal. However, I'm open to do it sooner if you prefer.

Can I use my Preview makeup or hair for my engagement photos after?

Of course you can! However, please consider two things:
(1) Will the bridal hair and makeup look too formal for your engagement attire?
(2) Do you care that your fiance gets to see your bridal look already?

I'm interested in "Hairstyling for the Bride and her ladies," but what if I don't have anyone else getting their hair done except myself?

You can trade the 2 guest services for your Engagement hairstyling, or an additional Hair Preview. This way you can try 2 completely different hairstyles and pick your favorite one for your wedding day.

Can I add more hair services to the *Hairstyling for the Bride and her ladies* package? And how much more will each hair service cost?

I can offer up to 8 additional hair services besides yours for this package. Each additional hairstyling service is $200/person. Please inquire me for a custom quote if you have more than 4 hair services total.

Can I book you for myself plus hair & makeup for my bridal party?

Hi Bride, if you want to hire me just for your makeup & hair, then my first package "Makeup & Hair for the Bride" will be perfect for you. This package will not include services for additional ladies. I'm happy to share other makeup artists' contact information for you to reach out and book bridal party services separately with them.

What are some of the makeup and hair brands do you use?

In my makeup kit, you’ll find YSL, Nars, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Make Up For Ever, Hourglass, Patrick Ta, Tatcha, and Drunk Elephant and more. In my hair kit, you’ll find Oribe, Schwarzkopf, R+Co, KYK, Olaplex and more.

Where are you located?

My studio is located in downtown Millbrae, California. This is where we’ll meet for the Preview.

Is there a travel fee?

Yes. My travel fee is $100 for the first 20 miles from Daly City CA 94015, and $2 per mile after, round trip. If your location is over 55 miles from Daly City, please inquire to get a custom travel quote as 2 nights lodging accommodation may be required, depending on your location and start time.
